Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club at Shri Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Government Degree College, Samba is a dynamic initiative aimed at promoting electoral literacy and democratic awareness among students. Founded with the objective of promoting active citizenship and voter participation, the club engages students in various activities related to electoral processes, governance and civic responsibility.
Through workshops, seminars, debates and interactive sessions, the club educates students about the significance of elections, the electoral system, voter rights and the importance of informed decision-making. It also collaborates with election authorities and civil society organizations to conduct voter registration drives and spread awareness about the electoral process.
Moreover, the club plays a crucial role in organizing mock elections, voter awareness campaigns and outreach programs to encourage students to become responsible and informed voters. By empowering young minds with knowledge about democracy and elections, the Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club(PELC) strives to create a generation of politically aware and active citizens who contribute positively to the democratic fabric of the nation.
