Physics

The department of Physics has a remarkable history of more than 13 years. The department was established in the year 2010 with the commencement of B.Sc. as a core subject with more than 200 students with one faculty. The department has a Physics laboratory well equipped with adequate number of laboratory equipment’s, smart board, efficiently managed by one laboratory assistant and one local fund employee.

The department has a dedicated and exceptionally competent faculty fostering an environment of accessibility, inclusiveness and healthy competition, wherein each student is ensured the essential personalized attention and care as well. The faculty of the department continuously improves the teaching learning by using the latest ICT tools. The faculty is also involved in research activities and has published research papers in journals of international repute. The teaching faculty upgrades themselves by attending refresher courses, workshops and conferences. The department aims at ingraining the spirit of ingenuity, innovativeness and technical competence in the students by regular. The department organizes guest lectures, seminars and workshops to expose the students to recent developments in the information technology. Department is committed to educate and encourage the students to meet the needs of industry and society.
