DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTERS
The department of Computer Science was established in year 2007 with introduction of Computer Applications as one of the core subjects in UG programmes. The department has the state of art Computer Science laboratory well equipped with adequate number of computers, smart board and high speed internet facility, efficiently managed by one laboratory assistant supported by laboratory bearer and technical assistant.
The department has experienced and highly qualified faculty with good research experience. The faculty members of the department also perform different kinds of IT tasks in the institution. The faculty of the department continuously improves the teaching learning by using the latest ICT tools. The faculty is also involves in research activities and has published research papers in journals of international repute. The teaching faculty upgrades themselves by attending refresher courses, workshops and conferences.
The department aims at ingraining the spirit of ingenuity, innovativeness and technical competence in the students by regular. The department organizes guest lectures, seminars and workshops to expose the students to recent developments in the information technology. Department is committed to educate and encourage the students to meet the needs of industry and society.
