Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 2010.The Department consists of one Laboratory, H0D room, Staff room and Assistant room. The Department has three permanent faculty members and one academic arrangement. Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced with around fifty percent holding research degrees ( M.Phil /PhD ).The laboratory is well equipped for undergraduate courses and managed skillfully by one laboratory assistant and one laboratory bearer. The student strength at present is more than 250. The teaching paves through hybrid mode of traditional methods and modern facilities, enabling the young minds to widen the horizon of thought process and give a vent to their flair and abilities.

 

The Department of Chemistry is privileged to have qualified faculty with good work ethics as taking responsibility, trust and mutual respect for the colleagues for maximum output at work. Their keen interest in updating and imparting knowledge to the students help to open new vistas for the young learners.
