NSS Unit 'MAITRI' – 7-Day Special Camp

As part of its week-long social outreach, NSS Unit 'MAITRI' visited the adopted village Balore, focusing on female personal health and the Role of Ayurveda in Daily Life.

Experts from the Department of AYUSH, Dr. Nikhil Mahajan and senior pharmacist Mr. Vijay Sharma, conducted awareness sessions emphasizing hygiene, self-care, and Ayurveda's holistic health approach. The campaign empowered women with knowledge on sustainable well-being and self-reliance, making a significant impact on community health literacy.

Earlier, on the first day of the camp, NSS volunteers made a compassionate visit to a special school, engaging children in art-based activities and distributing crayons to promote creative expression and inclusivity.

The NCORD Cell, in collaboration with the NSS and NCC Units and the Health and Family Welfare Department, Samba, organized a Blood Donation Camp under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

More than 30 cadets and students participated in blood donation, showcasing their dedication to humanitarian causes and their pledge towards a healthier, substance-free future.
