Shri Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Government Degree College Samba witnessed an engaging Alumni Meet for the session 2024-25 under the theme“Celebrating the Past, Connecting for the Future.” The gathering provided a meaningful platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and fellow batchmates while reflecting on shared memories and institutional growth.

The event featured ceremonial traditions, including the lighting of the lamp and National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and patriotism. A documentary highlighting the college’s journey, key achievements, and milestones was showcased, offering attendees a nostalgic perspective on the institution’s progress.

The meet also included the formation of the Alumni Association’s Governing Body. Naresh Kumar (Assistant Professor, GDC Majalta) was elected President; Bhuvnesh Paragal (JKAS) and Neha (Assistant Professor, Bhargava College) as Vice-Presidents; Gulshan Sharma as General Secretary; Rohit Singh as Joint Secretary; Nikhil Singh as Treasurer; and Mansi Charak as Assistant Treasurer.

An interactive session allowed alumni to share their professional journeys, personal experiences, and reflections. As a gesture of appreciation, the 2022-23 alumni batch contributed a water cooler to the institution. The program also featured a vibrant cultural segment, celebrating student talent and enthusiasm.
